Physical activity is in many peoples normal routines. Those people that work out tend to feel better and have more energy through out the day. So why wouldn't everyone work out on a daily routine you ask? The social norm for people in America is a very busy day either running kids around, getting to work, and trying to eat healthy meals. This is why much of America is obese.
Fitting in some kind of physical activity into your day is very important. Being active gives you more energy through out the day and helps your mind stay focused. These benefits alone can help one get better results at work and at home with your family. So many Americans eat fast food on a daily basis and the foods are fried in fats and oils. These unnecessary calories that are taken in can and will make you gain weight. Staying active can help you keep off this weight and stay fit even if you do take in unwanted calories because you are in a rush.
Staying active can help save your life and definitely lead to a more healthy life-style. I encourage everyone to fit 30 minutes of activity into your day at least 3 or 4 times a week. You will look and feel better about your-self and you will also have a healthier and more stimulated mind.
Austin,
ReplyDeleteOf course as a fellow physical education major I agree completely that everyone should be getting in their daily exercise. There are so many physical and mental benefits that come from being physically active that our communities would be much better off if everyone made getting active part of their weekly norm.
